BAY-WINDOW BRICK TOWER
    The 8-20 Machine Brick
    Interlocking tower was introduced
    by the Pennsylvania Railroad in
the early half of the 20th Century
    as a modern architectural marvel
    compared to wooden towers. A
    classic example of Pennsy
    architecture, it embraces the
    highlights of flemish-bond
    brickwork, copper flashing, and
    ornamental brick coins.

    While some towers have
    regrettably been destroyed,
examples of this style of tower
have outlasted the PRR, PC, CR
    and are still surviving during
    today's era of Amtrak, Norfolk
    Southern, and CSX
    Transportation. Remaining
examples can still be found in
service along the old Main Line
    electrified territory of Amtrak's
    Keystone Service Corridor.
Others remain as a shadow of
    themselves rotting away unknown
    to today's traveler.

    Mount Vernon Shops has
produced this tower kit to guard
your interlocking 24 hours a day,
7 days a week, its service never
    ending for your railroad.

Some notes on the tower:
It is manufactured out of clear 1/16" and 1/32" thick acrylic sheets. This is a modern,
high-tech equivilent of the wood craftsmen kits of yesteryear. This kit is not for the beginner.
Assembling the kit is similar to assembling a resin structure or piece of rollng stock. This kit is
priced high because of the special engraving of the flemish-bond brickwork. This brick brick
pattern is not availible for an model railroad structure anywhere else.
