During 1964 the P&LE had Greenville Car Company build 150 of the 951-F flatcars which measured 53’6” long over end sills. In 1965 50 addition 951-F flatcars were built with modifications to hold skid and covers for coil steel service. Finally, the 108-F flatcar class was built in 1967 by Greenville. These cars lasted in revenue service into the early 1990’s.

This sheet has enough data to do 1 car, data allowances are for 951-F and 108-F flatcars.  2 F41 class, 2 F41A class, 2 F41B class, 2 F41D class, and 2 F41F class. There are twelve different reweigh locations and twelve different reweigh dates. There are also appropriate lube stencils included. For those that need wheel inspection dots, I recommend the ones made by Highball Graphics. Modelers wishing to apply ACI Bar Code Plates, we recommend using the Microscale Products Minical MC-4280. The P&LE 951-F flatcar has been produced as a 3D printed kit by Plate C Model Prototypes, being sold by 3D Central Trains.

Painting instructions for any of these flatcars; the 951-F class as-built was an all black body, the 108-F as-built was  ajade green body. Penn Central era: jade green or deepwater green. The trucks are black.
