This also ensured that cars would not be unsafely overloaded which could cause complications while enroute to a destination. AAR rules dictated cars should be reweighed on a regular schedule. This sheet was created to help replicate that for modelers of the PRR's Circle Keystone era.

This sheet includes data for 6 different scale locations from across the PRR System (P18: Camden, NJ; P129: Northumberland, PA; P243: Shire Oaks, PA; P270: Wheeling, WV; P283: Ebenezer, NY; P341: Conway, PA) and 12 different reweigh dates (8/33, 6/35, 12/38, 9/40, 2/41, 4/42, 12/43, 9/47, 8/49, 11/51, 5/53, 10/55). Repack data to match the provided data along with two sets of color patches for appropriate shades of Freight Car Color for 1930's-1940's and 1940's into mid-1950's.

For references regarding the PRR's freight reweigh practices please consult the many numerous resources of freight car photos.

In 1941 the Chesapeake & Ohio placed an order with Greenville for well-hole flatcars. There were some heavy-duty flatcars which received Penn Central and later Conrail marks that were token icon cars. Before the mergers of the 1960’s the C&O and NYC were close working partners. The C&O Had a fleet of Greenville well hole flatcars built, which the NYC purchased two cars from, and later when a larger capacity version was created, the NYC also had one built for them as well. This gave the NYC two 52-foot-long Greenville well hole flatcars and one 62-foot-long Greenville well hole flatcar. These cars survived into Penn Central and all three eventually got PC Green painted with black trucks, which they remained in for the rest of their service lives.
