Welcome to the home of Mount Vernon Shops. We specialize in HO scale structure models of the discerning prototype modeler. The majority of these are from railroads within the mid-atlantic region. Using photos, blueprints, and measuring existing buildings, we have the capability to manufacture detailed structures using elements commercially unavailable to the modeling community.

The Armstrong Lever Tower interior is now availible for purchase. This kit is designed for the bay-window tower, but can also be used to futher detail other towers which may have had an

Armstrong Interlocking Machine. These are being sold in a one-time only limited run of 20. Once they're gone there wont be any more produced due to the complexities of manufacturing them.

While sales of COLA are starting to wane, MVS has been working on a new kit. Although smaller than the towers, it has yet again, raised the bar on what the capabilities of MVS are.

Until a few months ago the structure was thought to be a one-of-a-kind building, but additional research has shown it was actually a standard design from the Pennsylvania Railroad.

So, Mount Vernon Shops is pleased to announce the addition of the PRR's Standard Brick Scalehouse kit. It has been designed to compliment the Track Scales kit produced by Walthers. For more information see the link below.

COLA Tower is officially released for sale. It is availble in HO in a limited one-time only run of 25 models. To date 10 have been sold.

Additional decals will be coming shortly to MVS's line of products.
