February 2010: It's been a great year
for Mount Vernon Shops so far. We
just received our shipment of HO
Scale PRR FM Class Flatcar decals
and the quality, as anyone can expect
from the best printer in the business is
excellent. The formal announcement
will be made shortly through
multimedia channels.
January 2009: Happy New Year!
With a new year, comes new
products. Please check out the HO
M53 decals which I produced, and are
being sold exclusively by the B&O
Hiostorical Society. Here on the
Company Store page, it's product
33061. Also, I am working on getting
more Pennsy decals out. An order was
just placed with Microscale for HO
FM flatcar decals. Look for these by
the end of February. Finally, we will
have our products for sale at the Great
Scale Model Train Show at the Cow
Palace in Timonium, MD on February
6th & 7th.
November 12, 2009:
Effective Immediately Mount Vernon
Shops is ceasing production of its
structure kits to focus soley on decal
production. A new and unique
business opportunity has prompted
this change. Any remaining kits will be
sold and then retired until further
notice.
October, 2009:
Mount Vernon Shops is happy to
announce its cooperative partnership
with the B&O Railroad Historical
Society and two resin kit
manufacturers in providing decal
artwork for an upcoming freight car
kit. This project will be the first of
many with these other manufacturers,
working together to bring you, the
modeler, to make the most accurate
products on the market.
April, 2009: A new decal sheet in HO
for the F31 class of cars. For more
details see the F31 decal page. There
are two more HO flatcar decal sheets
in the works.
January, 2009: N scale versions of
the Scale Test Car and Aerotrain
decals are now being offered after
requests by the modeling masses and
both are in stock, but in limited

announce the first product in our
regularly stocked decal line. Decals for
